Have a Question?

Our most common questions, answered.

What are your business hours?

Because we offer classes based on pre-registration only, our working hours reflect our current class schedule. We will always be in the studio 30 minutes before and after a class for prep and clean-up. We are often in the studio all day on weekdays, but it never hurts to call or text ahead to ensure we're here when you need us to be.

How old does my child need to be to participate?

Currently all of our classes are recommended for Makers aged 5 and up, unless otherwise listed. Please review information at the top of each page and in class descriptions before registering yourself or your Maker for a session.

Do I need to stay with my child during class time?

Little hands sometimes need extra help, so we require all students aged 3 and under to have a parent or other adult accompany them during the entirety of their class.

What are my Payment Options?

Currently we accept: Cash, Check, and Credit Card payments. Credit Card payments can be made in house or on our website. We also accept PayPal.

Note: PayPal is our credit card processor of choice, but no PayPal account is necessary to make a payment with us, simply sign in as a guest to check out as normal.

How do you determine Pricing?

We feel excellent art instruction takes time and the right materials for the job. Our pricing reflects our commitment to a certain standard of instruction based on a lifetime of experience. Factors that influence class pricing include:  Length of class, cost of materials, amount of preparatory work, whether an assistant is needed to run the class, and more.

I'm not sure I enrolled my child in the right class, how can I double check?

All class and workshop registrants will receive a confirmation email confirming their class date and time at the end of checkout. If you choose to pay online when booking, you will also receive an email with receipt of payment. Didn't get an email or need to switch days? Call or email Miss Megan and we'll get you updated!

My child needs to miss a class. What do I need to do?

Currently we do not offer refunds for missed classes, but we are happy to offer a credit for a class with advance notice. Please contact Miss Megan directly via phone, text, or email as soon as you know you will be unable to attend.

I need to cancel my enrollment, can I get a refund?

Art making is a time-consuming business and requires lots of planning, material gathering, and preparation which begins as soon as you enroll in a class or workshop. Seats are also limited in all of our classes, which means we may have had to turn away another customer from our services. For these reasons we DO NOT offer any refunds for Classes, Workshops, or Adult Nights. We also do not offer refunds for Gift Certificate purchases as they do not expire and can be used toward any enrollment or purchase.

Do you currently offer classes for adults? Can I BYOB?

Yes! You can view upcoming adult nights on our Workshops + Events page.  Miss Megan offers step by step instructions on how to paint each canvas, but encourages all participants to really make each canvas their own by customizing colors, trying different techniques, and more. BYOB is allowed for adult attendees, with proper ID. Private Bookings (parties, bridal showers, etc.) are welcome to bring any refreshments of their choice to the studio.

Do you offer Private Art or Sewing Lessons?

Yes! Miss Megan will work with your and her schedule to set up a single or series of private lessons, covering what you or your child want to learn about most! Pricing for Private Lessons is $30 per hour per Maker. Pricing may be reduced for long term commitments or for small groups.

Will you post if a class is cancelled?

We will post on social media if a Monthly Class, Open House, Open Studio, Adult Night, or Weekend Workshop WITH enrollments is being cancelled due to illness, bad weather, or emergency.

Classes WITHOUT enrollments will not be posted on social media, they simply won't be held.
